I sort of picture myself sitting on a train speeding through some barrio facing the opposite direction of travel while catching up on the blog. I am wearing those cool half-glasses that are popular among smart looking people these days and may be some stone washed jeans. Sorry, I missed the train today and my breakfast is getting cold.

This summer has been great so far. I read a few weeks ago that 60% of the country was in drought. We had a bit of a spell here also. It rained last week though.

I have been having frustrating computer/machinery problems at work and messed up a couple of projects that need reworking.

I would be a better person if I was able to get to these quicker.

Thanks to Tom for finding the broken wire in my foot pedal (part of the welding machine). I had to bring another machine in from the back room and unlike the Thermal arc I usually use, is single phase and I had to run a 20′ extension cord the size of a garden hose! (60 amps is quite a pull!)

I may have mentioned I had some help at the shop recently. That has made a big difference. I am able to have fewer distractions. Thanks again for hanging back till Friday afternoon to visit.

Ill get back to posting project pics when things have smoothed out a bit.
