I am sure a bunch of great things happened and if something great happened in your life that seem quite a bit like these great things, it’s purely coincidence.

A young man by the Name of Bear Cieri called me one day last year (approx) and wanted to take some photos of bikes at the shop. He ended up coming down and spending a whole day working away.

Bear took some really beautiful photographs at the shop and a few of me at work. He also wrote some very nice words. We didn’t talk much while he was here but he certainly produced something that touched me very deeply. Thanks man. I urge readers to look at his work.

Lanie has been cooking her little heart out lately with tons of good coming in from the farm getting put up for the winter and I have been doing my usual 50+ hour weeks.

A new restaurant opened in town about a month ago and there has been a lot of talk about it. It features simple ala carte type menu with fresh food. Popolo is the name of the place. While nice graphics are cool and trendy and all that, the food is whoa so crazy good. I am not kidding. The people are very nice also.

I just got a salad and steak but it was plenty. I think the steak was $20.00 and the salad, $14 or so. It was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. High end but worth a pretty decent drive in my book.

We would have stayed for desert but we were heading out to see a show in Saxtons river. My buddy Dave’s GF runs the arts program for the village so they invited us to see the Ethan Lipton orchestra at the Theater at Vermont academy (local school)

The show was a mix of satire and really good music. The youtube stuff on them does no justice. The music is extremely tight and Ethan is a funny, clever cat. If you get a chance to see these guys, don’t miss it. We are heading out to Dave’s B-day party tonight for beer and music.
