It the world of bicycle racing the time trial is known as the “race of truth” as there is nothing but the cyclist and the clock. You don’t have anyone to set your pace or get in your way. If you are any good it will be very painful.

I like time trials personally. Downhill racing is a time trial but today I am talking about road racing. I haven’t done it myself. I haven’t time trialed on the road.

This is like driving a nail into your head for an hour. There really aren’t any distractions or techniques like object fixation that really help after a while when it’s you alone for an hour. Try it.

The racer who asked us to build this bike enjoys the time trial (may be a sick ****). He has trimmed away that which isn’t needed (like superfluous gear ratios) and has certain expectations regarding the return on his investment. Push pedals hard, bike go fast, I speak your language amigo. Today was the day I began WAR RAW. Enjoy these photos.
